Soumili Trivedi

Soumili Trivedi is a project-based French instructor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for language learning. She completed her B.A. in French Language and Literature from Banaras Hindu University and is currently pursuing her M.A. in French Language and Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She also holds a DELF B1 certification. Soumili speaks Bengali, Hindi, English, and French, helping her connect comfortably with learners from diverse backgrounds.

She specialises in beginner French and DELF A1/A2 preparation, with a focus on making early language learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. Her approach combines interactive teaching with audio-visual methods so students can learn through conversation, listening, and active participation rather than memorisation alone.

Soumili especially enjoys working with young learners and believes classes should feel lively, supportive, and easy to follow. Along with teaching, she also mentors students and helps guide them through their learning journey with patience and encouragement.

What she loves most about tutoring is that it is a two-way process. For Soumili, teaching others is one of the best ways to sharpen her own language skills while helping students grow at the same time.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys painting and writing short stories. A fun fact about her: she loves the concept of absurdism so much that her sense of humour has taken a wonderfully unpredictable turn.
