Shubhra Tewari

Shubhra is a certified language professional with a DELF B2 certification and an M.A. in English Literature. She specialises in preparing adult learners for international proficiency exams such as TEF, TCF, and DELF. She follows the direct method of teaching, encouraging students to think and speak in French from the very first day. She believes every learner is different, so she adjusts her pace and techniques to suit individual needs.

As a Senior Instructor, she also mentors fellow teachers, oversees academic materials, and curates engaging French-learning content for social media to ensure that La Forêt maintains its high standards of quality and creativity.

Teaching runs in Shubhra’s blood. Growing up in a family of educators, she was naturally drawn towards teaching from an early age. She fondly recalls teaching her toys as a child on a tiny blackboard.  That’s where her love for teaching truly began and it’s only grown stronger since.

Beyond teaching, she loves exploring museums and architectural gems.  She often brings these cultural discoveries, bits of art, history, and travel anecdotes into her classes, making the lessons more colourful and lively. And her playful talent of imitating Shinchan perfectly always brings a smile to her students’ faces. Her playful nature and infectious energy make every class a blend of learning, laughter, and inspiration.
