Ishwari Halbe

Ishwari Halbe is an online French instructor and a TEFL-certified English educator at La Forêt French Class with over four years of experience in teaching and has reached over 7,000 students worldwide. She is an ardent language learner and speaks 11 languages, including Marathi, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, German, English, and Indian Sign Language. She has several international certifications in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and German, including DALF C1, DELE B1, CILS C1, DAPLE C1, and Goethe B1, and a 230-Hour TEFL certification.

Her areas of expertise include French, from beginner to advanced levels, DELF/DALF exam preparation, Business French, Conversational French, and English Second Language (ESL). She teaches grammar with a focus on communication through role-plays, speaking, real-life situations, and examination techniques. She has taught students of different levels, including school kids, college students, working professionals, and retirees.

She has been a French lecturer at University, where she was invited to conduct lectures in French, and has also participated in translation projects, such as the translation of children’s books and the translation of child rights inquiries by the Parliament of India, which aims to make education and language accessible to everyone.

Her love of teaching comes from the fact that she loves languages, and her goal in teaching is to enable her students to explore new opportunities and connect with the world through the language she loves most.

In her free time, she loves to draw and has been a sketch artist and graphic designer for over ten years. One fun fact about her : she started learning  languages because she wanted to read the great works of literature in their original forms, and this love has remained with her to this very day.
