Isha Kukde

Isha is a French instructor based in Mumbai who teaches students online. Her love for French began nearly a decade ago through French films and music, and over the years, she has found new reasons to connect with the language. She enjoys making French approachable and helping students feel comfortable using it.

She specialises in teaching beginners, Business French, DELF and DALF preparation, and TCF and TEF exam preparation. She works with young adults, working professionals and children, adapting her teaching style to suit different learning needs and goals.

Isha focuses on making difficult concepts simple and helping students use French beyond textbooks and grammar exercises. Her classes bring the language to life through conversation, games and music, giving students opportunities to practise and build confidence as they learn.

Her interest in teaching started when she was in school, when she would teach her mother biology and maths. She soon realised that explaining a topic helped her understand and remember it better, but she also discovered that she genuinely enjoyed teaching. That experience shaped her approach to tutoring and continues to influence how she works with students today.

She believes students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and actively using the language. Whether they are learning French from scratch, preparing for an exam or developing their skills for work, she helps them progress one lesson at a time.

Outside teaching, Isha loves French music and is always happy to share a playlist. She also enjoys watching the daily drama between her dog and cat, who behave more like brothers than pets.
